David's extensive client-side background in the consumer packaged goods and Internet e-commerce industries gives him unique perspective on the complex issues faced by companies as they seek to build their brands, grow market share, and improve bottom line profitability. Through his nearly 20-year career, David worked in senior marketing capacities at blue-chip companies such as Colgate Palmolive and Unilever. He also served as general manager and vice president of marketing at Register.com. Since joining Greenfield, David has conducted extensive research with leading companies in a wide range of categories, including telecommunications, on-line services, pharmaceuticals, financial services, luxury goods, and retail. He has worked on projects dealing with brand positioning assessment, strategic brand equity evaluation, advertising and communication optimization, new product development, and Web site usability optimization, among others. David earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester and his M.B.A. from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
