David recently joined Greenfield as senior vice president, client marketing. He brings 20 years of client-side marketing, research, consulting, and business development experience to the company. David also has strong media and entertainment credentials, having worked with leading clients to deliver strategic brand messages to multiple audiences, across converging media platforms. At Greenfield, David is responsible for the continued growth of the company's client portfolio as well as the development of new products and innovative methods of delivering consumer insights.
Prior to joining Greenfield, David worked at Siegel + Gale, where he launched and grew the agency's Media and Entertainment Practice. As global director of the practice, he consulted on driving brand performance through media initiatives and worked with a wide range of clients including Comcast, CBS, Sprint, HD Radio, Time Warner Cable, Music Choice, Bloomberg, and Consumer Reports.
Earlier in his career, David held senior level marketing positions at Liberty Media's On Command Corporation and at Time Warner. David began his career at Unilever USA, working on masterbrand franchises such as Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion, Pond's Cleaners, and Mentadent.
David earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School and his Bachelor of Arts from Duke University.
David speaks on a regular basis at industry events. In 2009 David spoke at the Consumer Electronics Show, the National Cable Show, the Television of Tomorrow Conference, the New York Media Summit, and Billboard's Advertising Summit. David enjoys coaching lacrosse, mountain biking, playing tennis and studying Tae Kwon Do.
